I changed my car yesterday for a Peugeot 308 and I am so thrilled that Danny and Iqram found one with my personalised number plate. I know I have gone back to petrol but I have been assured I have a superb car! I do think the blue GT line was waiting for me to be bought and Iqram was really brilliant ! have been so impressed with the help from Charters in my opinion the garage deserves to be given the best award of 2016 as I am a good judge of character having worked as a driver on Reading buses for the past 38 years and sadly had to take early retirement back in May 2015 due to illness! I was very happy to help your secretary who is arranging a charity and I dropped down today with some tins for her! I must stress from the service department to the sales department, everyone has been helpful in explaining things. Best car purchase experience ever! -I want to say how impressed I am with all your staff; Sales executives; Ian Ross & Iqram and, not least the charming Caroline! I found this car on Autotrader after a long search, - my wife owns a similar Clio purchased new last September and this has just been written off. Your Clio was the best solution available, it is the same metallic red colour and is only 4 months old. You or your staff had priced the car competitively which is most helpful. I arranged for a test drive for me and my wife, we arrived a little late but the car was ready and we received a warm welcome from all your staff. It was refreshing to be allowed to take the car for a reasonable test drive unaccompanied (after giving sufficient security and documentation), this was ideal for us to assess the car together. Sufficient fuel was provided. The car was very clean and beautifully presented and we agreed that we would go ahead and purchase. I have purchased quite a few used cars in the last few years and Ian recognised that I had some knowledge and treated us with respect. I was able to negotiate with Ian and quickly reach a fair agreement. Ian made the process simple and was able to offer finance at a competitive rate. I have to further commend Ian for his patience with us as we struggled with an insurance nightmare which substantially delayed our completing the purchase. Finally the minor cosmetic defects that I queried have been properly addressed, again a first in my experience. I would be very happy to recommend your company and team to my friends and family. Indeed I may return to buy another car for myself in the not too distant future.
There has been an irritating little rattle around the automatic gear lever on my wife’s Peugeot for many months. Today I brought the car in after arranging a time with a technician – all very professionally organised. Unfortunately a test drive with one of your engineers failed to replicate the fault – isn’t that typical?! However they noted the piece of folded card that we had inserted to stop the rattle, took the car into the workshop and established that it was a known fault on this car and fixed it accordingly. Having fitted the sound deadening felt he asked if I wanted the car washed – which I gratefully accepted. What a professional, diligent and empathetic group of people you work with.
