On the 13th May SsangYong UK revealed the brand new Tivoli SUV and we’re excited to share the new features and functions that are available over the original model.
The New Tivoli features can be broken down as follows:
New & refined styling
New fully-featured infotainment system and dashboard
New, more efficient engine choices
New, refined styling
SsangYong has taken the best of Tivoli SUV and upgraded it for the 20s with a bolder stance. The Tivoli has always been a striking vehicle on the roads of Berkshire but now it has been given a little push further; leaving the competition in the dust.
The front and rear of New Tivoli showcases a bold new stance with refined edges, perfected grille, updated bonnet line and new triple LED front fog lights for a distinctive new look.
Smarter instrument cluster
Housed within the refined cockpit is the smart new infotainment system and updated details.
Gone are the traditional dials and (with a little influence from New Korando), a huge 10.25″ high resolution LCD instrument cluster sits beneath the binnacle. This smart infotainment screen offers a completely customisable display, offering a range of essential information including: Fuel economy, navigation data, speed limits, tyre pressures
Smarter Infotainment system
All New Tivoli models feature DAB+; a new industry standard for a crystal-clear sound. You can (of course) use Bluetooth to connect to your phone or table to stream music and the 8″ touchscreen (standard on ELX, Ventura and Ultimate models) feature Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
This means your smartphone apps can be shared to the New Tivoli to better help your longer journey.
Unexpected interior features
Does your car come with a heated steering wheel, air conditioning as standard, heated seats and more? New Tivoli does. If you opt for ELX or higher trim level then you’ll benefit from these and more.
It is the small SUV with big ideas and thanks to incredible strides made with the New Korando in 2019, the SsangYong team have integrated these into New Tivoli.
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration mean that you can benefit from:
Familiar Google Maps integration and navigation
Siri or Google Assistant at the touch of a button
Listen and reply to messages whilst on the move.
Three new engine choices
New Tivoli now has three new engine choices for a more economical drive and a low carbon footprint.
1.2-litre GDI- T petrol (Direct Injection and turbocharged)
1.5-litre GDI-T petrol (Direct Injection and turbocharged)
Upgraded 1.6-litre diesel
These engine choices have been specifically developed to abide by Euro 6d standards with excellent economy, improved power and lower emissions.
Your economy is helped further by a choice of two smooth six-speed transmission units and ISG (the automatic Stop and Go system). ISG automatically shuts off the engine when the vehicle is idle to save fuel economy and reduce exhaust emissions. This feature can be switched off by the driver if required.
Because it’s a SsangYong, safety comes first
Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking
New Tivoli can “see” braked vehicles ahead and can automatically stop in an emergency.
Lane Departure Warning Assist and Lane Keeping Assist
New Tivoli can tell when it is driven within a lane and can keep you in it automatically when you drift over the lines.
Traffic Sign Recognition
This incredible new car “reads” the speed limit signs and displays them clearly on the new digital instrument cluster.
High Beam Assist
You’re driving down a road at night with full beam on. Another vehicle is approaching you and New Tivoli shuts the full beam off until the car passes and then switches back on when safe.
Rear View Camera
Parking is made a breeze in New Tivoli thanks to its parking sensors and high definition Rear View Camera (standard on ELX and above)
Tyre Pressure Monitoring
The guesswork has been taken out of monitoring your tyres. New Tivoli does it for you. Each tyre is individually checked for pressure whilst driving and a notification is shown to the driver if more air is required.
