In 2016, SsangYong showed us a concept car (the SIV-2) and little did we know how close the new Korando was going to be to the final production model.
Unlike other manufacturers, SsangYong have had a history of producing concepts that actually have a chance to make it on the road (with the new Rexton really reflecting it’s initial concept-art design.
New Korando features
Fitted with a big range of features (which you would expect from a modern SsangYong, including:
9″ Audio Navigation System (touchscreen)
10.25″ digital instrument cluster
Four-way adjustable seating with lumbar support
New Korando engines
New Korando will be powered by a 1.5-litre turbo petrol or an updated 1.6-litre diesel engine (Euro 6d compliant). There is a fully-electric variant of the new Korando being released soon afterwards.
